Cala Moresca in Arbatax, Sardinia

Nestled within the village of Arbatax, sheltered by the famous Rocce Rosse and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, lies a beautiful rocky cove that captures the heart of every visitor: Cala Moresca. With its blend of red porphyry and granite rocks creating a breathtaking mix of colours, it is both wild and intimate. From Cagliari, take the SS125var and follow the signs for Tortolì. From Olbia, you can reach the town by taking the SS131Dir and then the SS289Var del Correboi. Once in Tortolì, follow the signs for Arbatax. On Viale Lungomare, before the port, turn right towards Piazza Colombo, then left onto Via Batteria. You will find a car park there. The beach is reached via a set of concrete steps along a scenic path through trees and rocks.

A large car park is available. Nearby, you can find refreshment stands, restaurants, bed & breakfasts, hotels, tourist information points and much more. It is also possible to rent apartments in the town of Arbatax – or in Tortolì – for a more comfortable stay.
