Tortoli – Arbatax

Tortolì welcomes many visitors through the maritime gateway of Arbatax, where waves break against the dramatic red porphyry rocks rising from deep blue water. From the seaside village of Arbatax, the road continues inland towards Tortolì, the most dynamic town in the area. With one of Ogliastra's widest selections of accommodation and visitor services, Tortolì is a practical base offering equipped beaches, restaurants and lively summer evenings.

Tortolì's coastline stretches for several kilometres, alternating rocky sections with long sandy beaches. Lido di Orrì is the best known, with fine pale sand and shallow water that slopes gently offshore. The beach combines clear water with useful facilities including showers, beach clubs and refreshment points.
