Su Sirboni Beach

Su Sirboni beach, located in the territory of Gairo Sant’Elena in Ogliastra, seems as if it were painted on canvas, so evocative and wild is its beauty. It is framed by the spectacular, vibrant red of its surrounding rocks and set against the breathtaking natural backdrop of bright green Mediterranean scrub. The scenery is completed by pristine white pebbles, perfectly rounded by the water, and the sparkling blue of a clear, warm, and clean sea. The shallow seabed, ideal for children, adds to its overall charm.

About the Beach

Though not widely known, Su Sirboni has become increasingly popular, cherished, and sought-after in recent years. It possesses an air of mystery and allure, being a beach that needs to be sought out and discovered. This is not a place you simply stumble upon. While its somewhat hidden nature might deter some, for most, this is part of its appeal. Just remember to bring everything you need for the day.

Su Sirboni beach is perfect for families with children, thanks to its gently sloping seabed and incredibly fine sand, which means beach shoes aren't necessary.

Special Features of Su Sirboni Beach

The beach is also highly recommended for those who love snorkelling. Its fairytale-like seabed offers a wonderful journey into the underwater world, teeming with colourful fish and interesting rock formations. The fact that it's reached via a footpath strikes a perfect balance between the desire for relaxation and the need for a gentle walk, whether to stretch your legs or simply admire the surrounding nature. The path to the beach is not overly demanding, and the view that awaits you is worth every bit of the effort!

Just a few metres from the shore stands a disused tourist village, abandoned for decades, which seems to add to the area's unique blend of beauty and mystery.

Here, you can breathe in the clean, free air.
