Town

Villasimius

Villasimius is one of the main destinations in south-east Sardinia, surrounded by beaches, lagoons and headlands within the wider Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area.

The town

Villasimius is especially lively in summer, with restaurants, shops and services for visitors staying along the coast. It is a convenient base for reaching a different beach each day and for organising boat trips or walks through the surrounding landscape.

Villasimius beaches

Porto Giunco is one of the area’s most famous landscapes, with pale sand, clear water and a lagoon behind the beach. The coastline also includes Punta Molentis, Campulongu, Campus, Porto Sa Ruxi and many other bays, making it easy to vary the scenery during a stay.

Capo Carbonara

The Capo Carbonara headland and marine protected area preserve seabeds, islets and stretches of coast of high natural value. Villasimius therefore suits both travellers looking for beach days and those interested in snorkelling, diving and excursions.
