Piscine di Venere

For travellers looking for crystal-clear sea and an unspoilt coastal landscape, Piscine di Venere is one of the most memorable stops along the Baunei Coast. The water is famous for its vivid turquoise shades, while the seabed is mainly sandy. Experienced hikers can also approach the area via demanding Supramonte trails, but these routes are not recommended without proper preparation or local knowledge.

Piscine di Venere is most easily reached by sea, either by renting a RIB, joining a boat excursion or booking a trip with a skipper. The spot lies close to the Grotta del Fico on the Baunei Coast and can be reached from the ports of Santa Maria Navarrese and Arbatax. Travel time varies with the departure point, vessel and sea conditions.
