Cala Ginepro

Cala Ginepro is a beach in the Orosei area surrounded by pine forest and wetlands. Sand, Mediterranean vegetation and a pale seabed create one of the main coastal landscapes north of Orosei.

The beach

The beach is broad, with sandy sections broken up by small rocky areas. The colour of the water is especially vivid on calm, sunny days.

Pine forest and wetlands

Vegetation and wetland habitats behind the beach add natural interest and make the area more than just a place for swimming.

Cala Liberotto

Cala Liberotto is very close and offers services and several smaller bays. Together, the two areas form one of the main visitor hubs along this part of the coast.

Biderosa

Further north lies the Biderosa Oasis, where access is regulated during parts of the year. Biderosa is best treated as a separate day rather than an extra stop.

In the Trip Planner

Cala Ginepro is a strong option for sea and relaxation. Pair it with Orosei or Cala Liberotto rather than trying to fit in too many nearby beaches on the same day.
