Sa Curcurica

Sa Curcurica is a beach in the Orosei area set within a natural landscape of sea, pine forest and a coastal lagoon. Its proximity to Biderosa and Cala Ginepro makes it one of the most interesting stops along the northern stretch of the Orosei coastline.

Beach and lagoon

What makes Sa Curcurica distinctive is the relationship between the sandy shore and the wetland behind it. Freshwater, vegetation and sea combine to create a richer ecosystem than a typical beach setting.

Pine forest

The green belt behind the beach provides shade and adds to the area’s natural value. Access should always respect the vegetation and wetland habitats.

The sea

The pale sandy beach and sandy seabed make Sa Curcurica suitable for a day by the sea, provided wind and sea conditions are checked beforehand.

Biderosa and Cala Ginepro

These three coastal areas belong to the same wider landscape. In the Trip Planner they should generally be treated as alternatives or spread across different days rather than packed into a single itinerary.

Orosei

The town of Orosei adds history, architecture and services to the area. A balanced day can combine the old town with one beach nearby.
