Li Cossi

Li Cossi is a small bay at Costa Paradiso, in the municipality of Trinità d’Agultu e Vignola. Red granite, Mediterranean scrub and a short panoramic walk make the approach to the beach part of the experience.

The bay

The beach is compact and enclosed by granite walls and rocks. Its small size makes Li Cossi especially scenic but also means it can become crowded in high season.

The trail

The beach is reached on foot along a panoramic coastal path. The walk is relatively short, but in the hottest hours it is still important to carry water and sun protection.

Red granite and Mediterranean scrub

Costa Paradiso is characterised by large reddish granite formations shaped by the wind. Their contrast with the sea is one of the most recognisable features of the area.

Sea conditions

This stretch of coast is exposed, and wind and waves can make swimming more difficult. Always assess conditions on the spot rather than relying only on how sheltered the bay appears.

Isola Rossa and Costa Paradiso

Li Cossi can be included in an itinerary with Isola Rossa and La Marinedda, but it is better to give the beach enough time rather than turning the day into a rapid sequence of stops.
