Town
Pula
Pula combines archaeology, coast and lively town life on southern Sardinia's shoreline. It is best known for Nora, but is also a strategic base for exploring the coast west towards Chia.
Pula town centre
The centre is compact and pleasant to explore on foot, with squares, restaurants and bars that become one of the meeting points of the south-western coast in summer. From here, the sea and the main archaeological and natural attractions are easy to reach.
Nora
Only a few kilometres from Pula lies Nora, one of Sardinia's most important archaeological sites. Phoenician, Punic and Roman ruins stand directly beside the sea, creating a visit where history and landscape are inseparable.
Beaches and the surrounding coast
The municipality offers beaches and stretches of coast within easy reach, while continuing west leads to Santa Margherita di Pula and then Chia. The area makes it easy to alternate beach days with cultural visits and road trips along one of southern Sardinia's best-known coastlines.
