Town

Badesi

Badesi sits on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Asinara and a long stretch of sandy coastline. It is a practical base for travellers looking for wide beaches, sunsets and easy connections to Isola Rossa, Castelsardo and the Coghinas Valley.

The panoramic village

From the centre and the higher parts of town, views stretch all the way to the sea. Badesi remains compact and offers useful services for visitors who want to stay near the coast without being directly on the seafront.

Badesi beaches

The coastline is long and open, with pale sand and natural stretches. Li Junchi, Li Mindi and Poltu Biancu are among the main beaches in the area and help spread visitors across a wide section of coast.

Wind and open sea

The Gulf of Asinara can be exposed to wind and waves. This also makes the area appealing for water sports, but sea conditions should always be checked before entering the water.

The Coghinas Valley

Inland, the landscape quickly changes to the Coghinas Valley, countryside and thermal-spring areas. It is a good alternative to the beach on days when sea conditions are less suitable.

Badesi in your itinerary

In the Trip Planner, Badesi works well as a base between Isola Rossa and Castelsardo. A realistic day can focus on one main beach while leaving time for nearby villages or landscapes.
