Beach · Aglientu

Naracu Nieddu

Naracu Nieddu is a natural beach in the municipality of Aglientu, along a stretch of coast characterised by broad sandy shores, dunes and Mediterranean scrub. The lightly developed setting makes it especially appealing to travellers looking for sea and landscape rather than resort facilities.

The beach

The beach is long and sandy, with plenty of space and an open horizon across the Gulf of Asinara. Areas further from the main access points retain a particularly natural character.

Dunes and vegetation

Dunes and Mediterranean vegetation lie behind the shoreline. Use existing access paths to avoid damaging fragile coastal habitats.

Open sea

The coast is exposed to wind and can experience waves and currents. Always assess actual sea conditions before swimming.

Monti Russu and Lu Litarroni

Naracu Nieddu belongs to the same wider coastal system as Monti Russu and Lu Litarroni. The beaches are close together, but a balanced itinerary does not need to include all of them in one day.

In the Trip Planner

Naracu Nieddu is a strong sea-and-nature stop when the traveller prefers less developed areas. It can be paired with Vignola or Aglientu as the main beach of the day.
