Town
Sadali
Sadali is a small village in the Barbagia di Seulo area known as the 'village of water'. Springs, old mills and the San Valentino waterfall flowing through the heart of the village create one of the most distinctive atmospheres in inland Sardinia.
The waterfall in the village
San Valentino waterfall is Sadali's symbol and lies directly within the village. Water, vegetation and stone houses combine to create an unusual setting for a Sardinian town.
Mills and springs
The abundance of water historically powered mills and traditional activities. Walking routes allow visitors to see some of these structures and understand the long relationship between the village and its water resources.
Historic centre
Narrow streets, traditional houses and small green spaces make Sadali pleasant to explore on foot. The village is best enjoyed without a rigid schedule.
Su Stampu 'e su Turrunu
In the territory between Sadali and Seulo lies the natural monument Su Stampu 'e su Turrunu, where water, cave and waterfall meet in a forest setting.
Sadali in the Trip Planner
Sadali is a strong stop for travellers interested in nature and villages and can be combined with Seui or a short excursion, without trying to fit too many towns into the same day.
